Inspections

In March 2025, we had our first inspection with the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). We are delighted to be able to share the report below.

This inspection outcome was a fantastic achievement for the school and a culmination of the work that has been put into the development of the school over the last four years.

The school was praised for its innovative holistic education model, including the use of the Golden Thread values to champion individual student progress and achievement across each stage of their education. Any gaps in learning are plugged quickly, and students make good progress against their individual learning profiles. Students achieve nationally recognised qualifications, including Grade 8s or 9s in English, Art, and PE. Teaching strategies are adapted for the needs of each student, with the integrated therapy model helping students to get in touch with their learning. Students stated that their progress was attributed to the adaptations that are made for them. Good quality resources are in all classrooms that enable students to access the curriculum, with the new additions of the Science Lab, Life Skills Centre, and Occupational Therapy Suite highlighting efforts made by leaders to develop the school’s provision and education offer.

It was also reported that students are at the forefront of the decisions made by leaders, who effectively promote the well-being of the students. Students are able to clearly articulate how they are supported emotionally and the school has a diverse and inclusive community. Evidence shows that educational attainment has improved over the last few years, with the Golden Thread at the heart of the school’s holistic curriculum. Health and safety, safeguarding, and filtering and monitoring are all effective and regularly monitored with robust procedures and training carried out by staff.

We were incredibly proud to hear the overwhelming positive feedback given to us by inspectors and are excited to use this report as a platform for further development of our unique provision. Thank you to all parents and students who provided such wonderful feedback, as it was a pleasure to review the comments with inspectors. Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved, staff, students, parents, and governors, in making our school so special.
